On the tradery.com home page
- explore the list of trading systems and their
recent back-testing results.
- sort the list based on any of the column
names.
- click on the "play" button to the left of one of
the systems to start an instant session with predefined
parameters.
- a dialog showing the session progress will then
be displayed.
- once the session has completed, click on any of
the tabs under the title bar to explore the corresponding set of
results
Or, go directly to the System Manager page by clicking on the
Systems tab, then
- Click on an existing system from the list down
the left side of the page
- Optionally, for a multi-system session, select
one more system by checking the box next to it (logged in users can
select up to 5 systems for a multi-system session.
- Click on an existing list of symbols (NASDAQ,
NYSE, AMEX are supported) from the right side of the page, or enter
your own list of symbols
- Optionally set session parameters (time range,
starting capital, max number of positions etc)
- Click the Run button.
- Once the session has completed, select any of
the enabled menu tabs to see various session results: statistics,
trades, signals etc.
- All data generated during a run session can also
be downloaded locally as csv (comma separated values) files
- If necessary, repeat the above steps to fine
tune the system.
To save, retrieve and share systems:
- Register and then login using your user name and
password.
- Create a new system based on an existing public
system, or create a new one from scratch.
- Run the system using the above steps
- Enter a name and a description and save it,
using the desired level of visibility.
- Make sure that a public or protected system does
not contain syntax errors or generate other runtime errors.
Work with entire trading sessions
- Create new sessions in the Sessions Manager
- Schedule these sessions for automated daily or weekly runs and
receive back-testing results or trading signals by email
- Create links to and share entire live sessions with others by
posting them on other social network, bookmarking or forums
sites.
